I graduated from Oxford in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. I believe that studying these disciplines provides students with the evaluative and analytic tools needed to navigate a complex and chaotic world with confidence. It's clear to me that studying these subjects has had a positive effect on my own life, and I want other students to have a similarly enriching experience. I think both economics and philosophy have great practical relevance for our lives and I'll try to show students the ways in which this is so.

I have over 10 years of private tutoring experience in the areas of UK university admission tests, interview practice, personal statement drafting, economics, philosophy and logic. Also beyond university admissions coaching, I also tutor A Level / IB economics, politics and philosophy. I have particular expertise in essay-based coaching: I guide students through the IB Essays / A-level EPQ — especially in Philosophy and Economics — from framing a focused research question to structuring rigorous, well-argued writing. I also mentor students preparing for essay competitions in Economics and Philosophy, and offer detailed essay editing and feedback that helps students sharpen their argumentation, clarity and critical analysis.

Outside of work, my interests include travel, film, climbing and the Russian language.
