The ESAT is modular: every candidate sits Mathematics 1 and most sit two further modules. The fifteen sessions are split evenly across your three, with the topics for each module listed below.

Each module is 27 multiple-choice questions in 40 minutes, scored separately from 1 to 9. Confirm the modules your course requires before booking — the choice cannot be changed afterwards without cancelling and re-booking.

No. Prerequisite knowledge is reviewed briefly where a topic needs it, but the programme is ESAT preparation rather than general syllabus teaching. Anything not yet covered at school can be self-studied or supported in extra sessions.
Fifteen 90-minute tutorials — 22.5 hours in total, three a week over five weeks, split evenly across your three modules. Each module is taught topic by topic, then finishes on a full timed mock.
